Screening

For women without symptoms, we offer breast screening by mammogram and/or breast ultrasound.
Screening mammogram is recommended for women any age over 40 years old with NO symptoms in Japan. Not for women with pregnancy, breast implants and pacemakers. Screening ultrasound will be offered to all women especially dense breast and younger women under 40.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer for women in the world. We inform women about the personal risk of cancer and benefits and possible harm from screening.
We hope our patient/women-centered breast cancer screening will save your time and bring less fear and better experience in comfortable and caring environment.
Fees: Paid by own expenses. Sometimes covered by city or cooperation’s health care services
Consultation
Covered by national health insurance. For women with symptoms such as lumps, pain and nipple discharge or abnormal findings in breast screening.
We offer you a consultation with the breast specialist,
-if you have noticed any symptoms: breast lumps and pain, nipple discharge/inversion, breast skin dimpling, redness and rash, breast size changes.
-if abnormal finding is found in breast screening.
In the Clinic, experienced breast surgeon will assess the results of mammogram and ultrasound and you will know the results on the same day. Additional diagnostic tests such as biopsies (taking a small sample of tissue), if warranted, can be done.
Generally, changes in you breast are not always cancer. We will identify if there is a problem. We want our clients to have less fear and quick/accurate diagnosis. If the diagnosis is done earlier, the more effective treatment will be available.
Fees: Japanese national health insurance will cover for consultation of your breast issues.
After Surgery
hormonal therapy and annual follow-up after breast cancer surgery.
After diagnostic tests at consultation, if you get diagnosed breast cancer, we will introduce variety range of hospitals and clinics.
We will support our patients during and after the primary treatment such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation at partner hospitals.
