Who Should Get Screened?

• Mammography is recommended for women aged 40 and older with no symptoms.
  Not suitable for women who are pregnant, have breast implants, or pacemakers.
• Breast Ultrasound is available for all women, and especially beneficial for:
  • Younger women under 40
  • Women with dense breast tissue
  • Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Those with breast implants or pacemakers

🔹 ① Mammography + Breast Ultrasound – ¥13,600 (tax included)
Our most recommended course. Ideal for:

• First-time screenings
• Women with dense breast tissue
• Those wanting a thorough examination
• Women with a family history of breast cancer
• Women currently undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT)

🔹 ② Breast Ultrasound Only – ¥5.800 (tax included)
Recommended for:

• Younger women under 40
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women
• Those with breast implants or a pacemaker

Consultation­­­ for residents with Japanese health insurance

Covered by Japanese health insurance. For women with symptoms such as lumps, pain and nipple discharge or abnormal findings in breast screening.

We offer you a consultation with the breast specialist,

-if you have noticed any symptoms: breast lumps and pain, nipple discharge/inversion, breast skin dimpling, redness and rash, breast size changes.

-if abnormal finding is found in breast screening. 

In the Clinic, experienced breast surgeon will assess the results of mammogram and ultrasound and you will know the results on the same day. Additional diagnostic tests such as biopsies (taking a small sample of tissue), if warranted, can be done.

Generally, changes in you breast are not always cancer. We will identify if there is a problem. We want our clients to have less fear and quick/accurate diagnosis. If the diagnosis is done earlier, the more effective treatment will be available. 

Fees: Japanese national health insurance will cover for consultation of your breast issues.

The cost varies depending on the consultation and examination details. Your out-of-pocket expense will be 10% to 30%, depending on your health insurance coverage.

(Reference) If you undergo both mammography and breast ultrasound at your first visit, the estimated cost for those with a 30% copayment is approximately ¥3,000–¥4,000. If a biopsy is performed, an additional ¥2,000–¥20,000 may be required.

After Breast Cancer Surgery

Hormonal therapy and annual follow-up after breast cancer surgery.

After diagnostic tests at consultation, if you get diagnosed breast cancer, we will introduce variety range of hospitals and clinics. 

We will support our patients during and after the primary treatment such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation at partner hospitals.
